Back this year by popular demand is the children's petting zoo. Located in the Rides Area, bring your kids out to pet the exotic animals, courtesy of Jungle Island Zoo. Some of the animals could include: Kookaburra(s), Red Kangaroo(s), Sulcatta Tortoise(s), Burmese Python(s), Miniature Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pig(s), Nilgai Antelope(s), Miniture Zebu Cattle, African Fennec Fox(s), Alpaca(s), Muntjac Deer, African Pygmy Goat(s), Camels, Zebras and many, many MORE! Your children can learn about the animals by reading the signs depicting each animal on exhibit, and feed will be available free-of-charge for those chidlren who want to feed the animals!

A 4th of July favorite, long-time partner The Eagles is once again presenting their Fishing Derby at Bear Pit Lake, just west of the Pavilion Stage, at 1:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded to the contestants catching the most fish, the biggest catch, and the fastest catch.
